D.A. Powell Wins The Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award Posted on 02/03/10
D.A. Powell a teacher at the University of San Francisco has won the $100,000 award from the Claremont Graduate University. Also announced Tuesday that the $10,000 Kate Tufts Discovery Award was awarded to Beth Bachmann for her first book of poetry, "Temper."

CallsForArt.com is proud to announce the launch of version 2 beta. Version 2 brings many new enhancements for both artist and show organizers. Some of the new features include for show organizers the ability to keep track and edit your listings on the site. For the artist you now have ability to add shows to a personal list and have deadlines displayed on a calendar. There are many more features for both artist and gallery coming soon. For now while we are in beta with the new features all users who have an account or sign up get access to the new features. If you already registered please log in, and you will find a link to select what type of account you want. If you are a show organizer and have submitted a show in the past and would like to have it associated with your login so you can manage it in the "Show Manager". Please register for a "Gallery Account" or assign your already existing account a "Gallery Account" from the Users page after signing in. Then send your login and show or shows name you would like associated with that login to update@callsforart.com. If you encounter any problems or have any feedback please feel free to post in the forums or send and email to feedback@callsforart.com

CallsForArt Updates! Posted on 12/03/09
CallsForArt.com is being updated with bug fixes and new features. I will be looking for beta tester to help test some exciting features. I will have more information soon on how to sign up to be a beta tester.
