ArtNight 2012: Luminous P...

ThinkArt! and SpringHill Suites Las Vegas will present ArtNight SpringHill Suites, a national community art event, dedicated to providing the local community with space to enjoy great art, great food, and contribute to a great cause.

ArtNight 2012 theme: Luminous Passage

ThinkArt! celebrates ArtNight 2012 with a theme inspired by French painter, Robert Delaunay’s quote (1885-1941) : “Light in Nature creates the movement of colors.”, and to honor the Mayan calendar end date.

The Mayan calendar end date is a time of transition from one cycle into another. The message they give concerns our making a choice of how we enter the future ahead. Our moving through with either resistance or acceptance will determine whether the transition will happen with cataclysmic changes or gradual peace and tranquility.

Luminous Passage inspired by Delaunay and commemorates the Mayan end date; to celebrate a new cycle – shedding the darkness and transition into the light.  A luminous passage that we will travel together to illuminate our world; making it a little brighter and a little more colorful place for all.
