IRREVERSIBLE INSIDE-OUT is presented by GIANTS IN THE CITY with the support of Miami Dade Cultural Affairs, The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University, The Bakehouse Art Complex, The Lunch Box Gallery, The Young At Art Museum, The Artisan Lounge, and Wynwood Exhibition Center (WEC).
IRREVERSIBLE is seeking contemporary visual artists for our juried competition INSIDE-OUT. Winning work will be published by IRREVERSIBLE Limited Edition Magazine during Art Basel Miami week Dec 2012 with Cover Featured Artist Award. Enjoy other opportunities to win as twenty-five (25) artists will be selected by a panel or highly noted jurors for recognition in Publication and through a physical exhibition.
IRREVERSIBLE Limited Edition Magazine seeks to highlight the value of local, national and international art, by connecting artists with new audiences and community development groups; demystify the creative process to the viewer, through image and text.
Open to all professional artists: emerging, established, national and international artists over 18 years of age. Full application, images (refer to image preparation), and payment must be submitted by the deadline for consideration. Entry fee $35 via Paypal with a $5.00 fee for each additional JPG, limit of ten (10) images per submission, Payment via PayPal.
Eligible Media: Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Photography, Mixed media, Digital art, Installation art, Earth art, Video art will be considered.
Applications will be available online at IRREVERSIBLE MAGAZINE website www.irreversiblemagazine.com.
1. SEND four (4) digital images of original work following our specifications.
2. Provide a current artist statement.
3. Go to Paypal.com to complete the application fee of $35 or more.
4. Submit all entry materials to .
Entry forms that are received without previous payment will be automatically dismissed.
Images must be titled with last name, first name, underscore, and title (For example: MendozaAlejandro_Title, Size & Year).
Resolution must be not more than 72dpi
Size: 5 width x 7 height (inches) or 360 pixels width by 504 height (pixels).
Images must be current (within the last two years) and accurately reflect the work to be featured. Images should not include name face of the artist.
Total of (4) images $35. with a $5.00 fee for each additional JPG, limit of ten (10) images per submission, Payment via PayPal.
· One “Featured Cover Artist Award” Winning image and artist name featured on the front cover along with a full page artist profile.
· Four “Exceptional Entries” One medium sized image, and short statement will be featured in a collective profile segment.
· Twenty “Honorable Mention Awards” One smaller image, artist name and website information will be listed in Inside-out feature section
IRREVERSIBLE MAGAZINE INSIDE-OUT Exhibit-November 2012.
All winners will be invited to the physical exhibition in Miami, FL, November 2012 during a featured Cultural Arts Event.
The Artisan Lounge in partnership with Irreversible Magazine is proud to support the winner of the cover contest by providing a solo art exhibit in one of our three galleries in December during the Art Basel season.
Jurors and Selection: Our jury convenes in Oct 2012 and includes 6 jurors that have been chosen on the basis of their experiences in working with a broad spectrum of fine arts.

Jury primarily takes into consideration the quality of work, presentation, and applicability to fulfill the mission of IRREVERSIBLE Magazine. IRREVERSIBLE INSIDE OUT reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these call for artists, at any time.
