Call For Entries
CollectLA of Los Angeles, announces a call to artists to apply for its upcoming inaugural art fair on February 16th & 17th, 2013.
It will take place downtown Los Angeles in the Penthouse Suite of the California Market Center which boasts 90,000 square feet of exhibition space. Approximately 350 artists will be selected to exhibit their work at CollectLA. Selected artists can either rent a 10’ x 10’ booth by themselves or share one with another artist of their choosing.
This art fair is the premier event for affordable art. Each artist must price their work between $50 and $2,500 with half their work priced below $1,000. No commission will be taken on sold works.
This call for entries is open to all artists who work in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, new media, and digital art. Accepted artists must set up their booth space on Friday, February 15th and exhibit their work at the fair on Saturday, February 16th and Sunday, February 17th.
The application deadline is November 2, 2012 with a fee of $25 per applicant. If you are selected for the show, booth fees for the weekend event are $550.
