The 5th Annual Taste of the Arts Festival is a celebration of cultural inspiration designed to promote our wide variety of artists, arts organizations and local restaurants. Admission to the festival is free and draws a diverse crowd. The festival includes multiple stages for performances, hands-on activity booths provided by arts organizations and a variety of food vendors. This event is a fundraiser through sponsorships and food sales supporting arts and educational programming for the community. This one-day festival drew over 20,000 people to the heart of Fort Wayne in 2012. The Fine Art Fair will feature nearly 40 fine artists. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013. Each entry must be an original work by the artist. Copies of other artists’ works or published photographs are not acceptable. Artists must be 18 years of age to enter. Accepted media categories are listed on the application.
Jurying and Submission Materials
Jurying is conducted by experienced art professionals and is based upon the quality of the documentation provided. The following items should be provided for jurying: Completed application, non-refundable $25 jury fee, four images of artists current work and one image of the artists booth set-up. The ONLY accepted file format is JPEG via email submission and not to exceed 1000x1600 dpi or 3 megabytes per electronic file. Total email size should not exceed 20 megabytes and all files should be emailed as attachments. Please make checks payable to Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne.

Terms for Participation
All participating artists must agree to the following terms:
Taste of the Arts, Fine Art Fair is an outdoor event. Artist booths will be set up on Main Street between Lafayette Street and Clinton Street. Artists will be provided 10’x10’ space. Artists must provide their own tents, display equipment, etc. Information packets detailing all show and setup information and further site specifics will be sent upon receipt of booth rental fee and signed contract for accepted artists. Booth sitters will be available. Please note on the application if you will need electrical hook-up. There will be a $25 fee for electricity payable with the booth rental fee by June 15, 2013. Free parking will be available the day of the event.
