JUROR: David Houston has nearly 30 years of experience as a curator, professor, and public art administrator. The Bo Bartlett Center will be the fourth institution he has helped develop and open. Most recently, Houston led a curatorial team at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, Arkansas. His work there included the installation and premiere of the permanent collection. He served as chief curator at the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans from 2001-2010 and codirector in 2011.
ELIGIILITY: The exhibit is open to all 2D or 3D artists 18 or older in the United States and artwork completed in the last two years. All styles and media are welcome; traditional and alternate media, as well as innovative and experimental approaches accepted. $2000 in cash prizes.
