Third Coast National
Description
The Third Coast National is a juried, non-thematic exhibition hosted by K Space Contemporary.

Eligibility:  Artists age 18+ living in the USA may enter.  Works previously exhibited at K Space Contemporary are not eligible.  All visual art forms and media are acceptable, except video and performance.  Complicated installations must be installed by the artist.

Juror:  Josh MacPhee is an artist, designer, curator, author and activist. He has released three books, Stencil Pirates: A Global Survey of Street Stenciling (2004), Realizing the Impossible: Art Against Authority (w/Erik Reuland, 2007) and most recently Reproduce & Revolt (w/Favianna Rodgriguez, 2008).  A street artist, printmaker and poster maker for over 15 years, MacPhee regularly exhibits around the world. He also helps run Justseeds.org, a radical art distribution cooperative. For 10 years he has curated the Celebrate People's History poster series, a collection of inexpensive educational posters focused on suppressed and little known histories of social justice movements. In addition, MacPhee curated Paper Politics, an exhibition of socially engaged printmaking
