Kingwood Reggae Meets Blu...

The Kingwood Reggae Meets Bluegrass Festival is designed to appeal to a wide variety of music fans. Saturday will feature a full line-up of Reggae bands while Sunday will celebrate Bluegrass music.
The festival will transform Kingwood’s Town Center Park (8 N. Main Street, Kingwood) into a 2-day musical experience. The Festival is open from 1- 10 PM on Sat., May 11 and 1- 8 PM on Sun., May 12.
Admission to the festival is FREE to the public. The Festival is grateful to Town Center Park for making this possible.
The Saturday celebration will also be the first reunion of the 19-year Bob Marley Festival Tour. Many of the staff and performers working or performing on this Festival are veterans of that Tour.
Besides the onstage talent, other planned activities include a large regional arts & crafts show, including a juried arts section. The Festival features a wide variety of tasty festival foods and beverages, including Texas wines. Behind the stage is a large area not only for children, but designed to bring out the child in all of us. This area features bungees, a rock wall bubble runners and face painting.
