Call for Exhibition Proposals

George School Anderson and Walton Galleries

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS

George School is a private Quaker boarding and day high school located on a rural campus in Newtown, Pennsylvania.

 

The George School galleries host three artist lecture series per year, as well as various faculty, student, and alumni work. The school hosts receptions and artist lectures on select Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

 

The first three exhibitions of the school year are open to all artists. Exhibitions are six to eight weeks in length; individual and group exhibitions may include two or three-dimensional works in all media, including installations. If you would like to be considered for a show, please submit the following:

Please send ten images of your work, attached to an email, sized at 6x9” with a 72 dpi resolution, with an accompanying description that includes slide list with title, size, medium, date of completion, and price, along with a resume and artist statement to: gsgalleryexhibits@georgeschool.org

To be considered for the following school year schedule, submissions must be received by October 31, however, proposals are accepted on an ongoing basis. Once a submission has been received the Exhibitions Committee will review the work and the artists will be notified as soon as this process is complete.
