Sugarloaf Craft Festivals, one of the nation’s most prominent and popular juried shows of fine art and crafts, is accepting applications from artists and craftspeople in all media for its Spring 2014 shows.

Exhibition space is available at all five Spring shows – and in all categories, including fiber and fashion, photography, fine art, furniture, ceramics and pottery, blown and leaded glass, metal, leather, and functional and decorative wood. Space is also available in jewelry, the first category to fill every season.  Jurying for the Spring 2014 shows begins in mid-August.

In the past year, attendance at Sugarloaf’s 11 shows increased by 4% and as much as 15% at some shows. Attendees are also spending up to 20% more per visitor resulting in $14 million in artist sales to more than 154,000 customers last year.

Craft industry publications regularly rank Sugarloaf Craft Festivals among the top fine arts and crafts festivals in the country. Eight of Sugarloaf’s shows were ranked in Sunshine Artist Magazine’s 2012 “100 Best Classic and Contemporary Craft Shows” list. Many of Sugarloaf’s jury-selected artists are represented in the nation’s finest galleries, private collections and museums.

Artists participating in Sugarloaf Craft Festivals benefit from heavy promotion of each show, including aggressive marketing, advertising and public relations programs.
