Baton Rouge Gallery is now accepting applications for the Flatscape Video Art Series. The gallery will turn its attention to the cutting edge of this frontier by inviting artists from across the United States to enter work that will not only give Flatscape attendees insight into what video art is, but where it - as a medium - is going.
All artists living and creating in the United States and its commonwealths and territories are eligible to submit work for this video art exhibition. All video works must be no longer than 15 minutes in duration and can touch on any themes the artist wishes to explore. Those interested in submitting work for consideration by the 2011 Flatscape Video Art Series Juror can find guidelines and submission instructions at http://batonrougegallery.org/pages/flatscapes.html.
Serving as juror for the 2011 Flatscape Video Art Series is Kelli Scott Kelley.
