"Movin' On Up"
A Chelsea Auction at Icosahedron Gallery
February 26, 2011, 7-11pm


Open to all artists worldwide with original artwork in any medium. Accepted submissions will be displayed and offered for sale via silent auction. Submitted works may not be larger than 2ft wide by 3ft tall or weigh more than 10 pounds. All accepted works will be listed for sale with a starting bid of $200 or less with a minimum bid increment of $25 dollars.

Auction Details

Accepted submission will be featured in a one night auction at Icosahedron Gallery in Chelsea, New York.  The auction will be supported by a full color online digital catalog and full invitation mailer to all gallery patrons.  Artists will also receive invitations to the show for their personal guest lists.  Guests will be allowed entrance free of charge all evening subject to gallery capacity.


It is FREE to submit work for consideration.  Accepted artists will be asked to pay a one time fee  of $50 to cover the promotional cost of invitations and marketing as well as reception costs.  The gallery will take 25% of all sales from auction.  If accepted, we will provide payment details for check, paypal, or credit card.

How To Submit

Please submit artist resume, statement, and up to five images of work for consideration.  Please clearly list the size, medium, and title of all works submitted. Deadline to submit is February 14, 2011.

Accepted Work

After work has been accepted, a substitution cannot be made nor may any changes be made in sales price or titles as stated on the submission.  Artists will be responsible for shipping all work to and from the gallery if unsold.  All works sent to the gallery must be prepared and ready to hang from a hook.  Any shipping materials must be clearly labeled if you would like the work returned.
