NEW ENGLAND PHOTOGRAPHY BIENNIAL 2011
Every two years, the Danforth Museum of Art celebrates contemporary photography through a highly selective exhibition of photographers who live or work in New England. Juried by George Slade, Curator and Program Manager of the Photographic Resource Center, Boston, the New England Photography Biennial 2011 showcases exciting and innovative photography by both established and emerging artists and will be exhibited September 11, 2011 – November 13, 2011.
All photographers over age 18 living and working in New England are invited to submit up to 5 works created in the last 5 years for consideration.
- Online submissions only. Visit danforthmuseum.slideroom.com to register, log in, and submit through our exclusive submission portal.
- Images should be 300dpi and no larger than 10” on the longest side. JPG, PNG, and GIF files are accepted.
- Each applicant must fill out a short questionnaire as part of the submission process. If your work is selected, your responses will be used for exhibition labels, an online catalog, and/or promotional materials.
- Each applicant is responsible for a non-refundable submission fee of $45 dollars for up to of 5 images. Fee is payable online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Please call (508) 620-0050 ex. 12 for other payment options.
