A themed art show consisting of juried and curated pieces from local, regional, and nationally known artists. Participants will be chosen based on the quality of their artwork and the artist’s ability to present/interpret the impact of racial disparities in the spheres of economics, education, health, the justice system, and/or everyday life. All pieces will be for sale. Artists will receive 60% of sale proceeds; 40% of proceeds benefit the Institute for Dismantling Racism.

THE BOAT SHOW at Studio Place Arts (SPA) in Barre, VT. Ships and boats are rich in literary, historical, and metaphorical references. For this exhibit we’re imagining portraits of sailing vessels, a new take on Washington Crossing the Delaware, models of ships (with or without bottle), or an interpretation of moving through water.
